This feature provides users with the option of verifying that they are calling from a cell phone owned by the user and allows them to enter the code to let the other party know that they are on the call and not a personal mobile device.

This type of system links together different mobile stations throughout the world, so that when one’s signal is weak or busy, it doesn’t mean that their phone is also out of service.
